The business end of the Komatsu seen up close & personal.

through 9: A major portion of the old section of Fred Hall comes down this particular afternoon. The building emerging into view is Hiram Smith Hall, an historic old campus building seen in this postcard from 1906.

While the Komatsu works the front of the building, bulldozers sift through the growing mounds of rubble in back.

through 13: More scenes from the back of Fred Hall.

through 16: Sorting out the metal for re-use. Tons of rebar were collected from the simple crushing of the surrounding concrete as shown in Photo 16.

An historical marker commemorating part of Fred Hall's glorious history. (A clearer shot of the sign is here.)
