1 and 2: At the "newer section" of Fred Hall – continuing the careful dismantling of the structure above the power substation which is to remain intact and become incorporated into the new Microbial Sciences Building.


Monday, October 25

x

3 and 4: Gently scraping off the accumulated debris from previous days.

5: A panoramic view (2 scanned prints stitched together) which includes the disappearing heap that was the older section of Fred Hall.

6 through 17: The job of dismantling and removing the remaining building elements above the substation nears its end and work continues into the night. Photo 14 shows a cross section of a toppled column. Jeff and Randy examine another column in Photo 15.

18 and 19: The top of the substation gets to looking pretty smooth in the next couple days.
