Frank Black paid a visit to the High Noon Saloon in Madison, Wisconsin on November 2, 2006 as part of a nationwide tour. Backing him were Duane Jarvis on guitar, Billy Block on drums and Eric Drew Feldman on bass. (Duane passed away on March 31, 2009.) Great musicians all, and the evening passed far too quickly. The first photo below is of the Reid Paley Trio who started the show. My photos unfortunately do not include Billy Block who, with Duane and Eric, graciously mixed with the crowd afterwards while Frank was sequestered for a meal of spaghetti. Earlier, Frank had been in the audience near the stage, chatting amiably with fans while appearing to eagerly anticipate the show.

Frank transistioned back to Black Francis and returned to the High Noon Saloon in June, 2009 for a completely solo performance with guitar and harmonica.
